The Crowbait Club is a monthly 10-minute theatre deathmatch (contest) where playwrights, actors, and theatre fans come to explore new works and ideas.
Where Stories Come to Play
Since 2011 The Crowbait Club has held a monthly theatre deathmatch, open to the public. For $10 (cash or venmo) you can come to watch, you can choose to act, and you can bring your own original 10-minute play (no previous experience required).
The Crowbait Club is in residence at Royal River Community Players, and meets the first Sunday of (almost) every month at The Playhouse at 305 US-1 in Yarmouth Maine. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 start. Our next deathmatch will be June 14, 2026!
